NikudQuest's lovingly-designed and meticulously-prepared program gives beginning learners an incredible foundation and head start not just in kriah, but in true literacy, while subtly laying the foundations for future skill development in speaking and writing. There is simply nothing like it. I can personally attest to the power of NikudQuest, since I use the program for elementary remediation and enrichment, but I'm also using it for a class of 70-year-old Russian-speaking retirees who are well-versed in Torah concepts, but who are learning Hebrew kriah for the very first time -- and we're having a blast. The NikudQuest books are transforming reading for my CHS kids. One boy said, "Finally I am reading not just random words but I am reading something that makes sense." In addition to building some knowledge of Hebrew, I can teach prefixes. The letter worklets are also amazing for children with reading challenges. It tackles each letter from so many angles! I am a big fan. If you had advanced kids who lacked motivation because reading felt meaningless, or kids who struggle, Hebrew Scouts is amazing. The books are informative and educational! Even my kids who know all the nekudot, happily read the books.

There are so many different activities to help children remember words. I am loving the flashcards. The pictures really help them with the meaning. When reading Book 1 with a Year 3 student, I was able to support to him to analyze the pictures and the words for both cow and bull. It was unbelievable how he was able to figure out the pattern for female and male word forms.

Our students love the decodable books. Most students were previously afraid to read large paragraphs, it was too overwhelming. They often made mistakes, they were frustrated and they felt that there was no purpose to Kriah. When we started using the decodable books, the kids were excited to pick books to read everyday. They looked forward to reading and understood what they read. It was really motivating, time flew and tons of learning occurred.
