Help your students track their learning with this engaging set of three traffic light–themed bookmarks:

• 🟢 קַל – Kal – Easy
• 🟡 בְּדִיּוּק – Bidyuk – Just Right
• 🔴 קָשֶׁה – Kasheh – Hard

These sturdy 2 x 4 inch bookmarks are designed for children to use inside their Guidebooks. Attach each bookmark to a paper clip so it stays steady in place on the page. Students place the bookmarks on different pages to show:

• • 🟢 קַל – Kal – Easy: Pages already completed, where reading feels smooth and effortless. If it feels automatic with no sparks of new learning, it’s too easy.

  • 🟡 בְּדִיּוּק – Bidyuk – Just Right: The current target—challenging but doable, the perfect zone for learning and exploration. Just right means about 1–2 mistakes per 10 items, with the student able to self-correct or correct mistakes when prompted.

  • 🔴 קָשֶׁה – Kasheh – Hard: Pages that feel beyond reach right now, where reading becomes frustrating. If there are too many mistakes, it’s too hard.
