Phase 1:
Struggling with Aleph-Bet?

Start here if your child struggles to learn or remember Hebrew letters. Ensure readiness for formal instruction with our early literacy readiness assessment.  

If your child struggles with sound awareness such as rhyming, counting syllables, and matching beginning sounds, they need foundational pre-reading support before alef bet instruction.

Phase 2:
Ready for Aleph-Bet?

 Not sure if your child is ready to learn the Alef-Bet? Use the Alef-Bet Readiness Assessment to see if they’re ready to begin—or if they would benefit from phonological processing first.

If your child can work with sounds orally but does not yet recognize and name the Hebrew letters automatically, and is not yet aware of the first sound of letter names they are likely ready for Letter Lab.

Phase 3:
Ready for Hebrew Reading?

Not sure if your child is ready to learn Kriah? Give your child the Kriah readiness assessment so you can continue with confidence. 

If your child can name the Hebrew letters but is not yet reading words fluently, they are likely ready for NikudQuest where will how to read using a structured system building decoding, reading fluency and reading comprehension.

Hebrew Jumpstart Session

Not sure where to begin? During this 75-minute parent-friendly session, we’ll assess your child’s current skills, discuss their instructional needs, and provide personalized recommendations for the most appropriate starting point, materials, and next steps.

Sessions are available online or at our Brooklyn clinic.

Kriah Evaluations (Clinical)

A comprehensive assessment of your child’s Hebrew reading development and literacy skills. The evaluation examines phonological awareness, letter and vowel knowledge, word reading, reading fluency, reading comprehension, and language comprehension, as appropriate for the child’s age and stage of learning.

You will receive a written report detailing your child’s strengths, areas of need, and instructional recommendations, along with a consultation to review the findings and discuss practical next steps for supporting growth in Kriah.
