The curriculum is designed so children can progress at their own pace. The curriculum incorporates benchmarks to ensure children are mastering skills and are laying a solid foundation before progressing.

There is no race or rush when it comes to learning, and children should be moving at a rate that works for them. It is more important to focus on making sure children are enjoying the learning and passing the checkpoints. But naturally, the more practice they get, the quicker they will master it. 

If children participate weekly or biweekly lessons and practice, the Letter Lab Curriculum is designed to take about one year.

The NikudQuest Curriculum is designed to take about 1.5-2 years.

The curriculum is designed so children can progress at their own pace. The curriculum incorporates benchmarks to ensure children are mastering skills and laying a solid foundation before progressing. Some children may need some more time at each level. It is typical for the first two units to take about 6-8 weeks and the remaining units to take about 4-6 weeks. 

Ideally, children should be practicing 20 minutes, once or twice a day but of course we need to build stamina and interest. Our curriculums have a variety of games, stories and activities to hold interest and make learning exciting and engaging. 

The Hebrew Scouts curriculum is designed with a “I do, we do, you do” experiences. That means it includes group learning, guided practice, and individual work, meaning it can work for both group and individual learning. The curriculum can also work really well in the resource room or with support teachers.

Our curriculums include Practice Packs which are fun and easy practice activities that parallel what children learn in school and give them extra opportunities to reinforce it at home. 

Our curriculums have built-in checkpoints that assess children’s knowledge, skill level, and progress throughout the curriculum. Additionally, every activity is essentially an assessment, with each one honing in on different skills to give them a fully well-rounded learning experience.
