The Phonology Flipbook helps children develop the sound-awareness skills that support successful Alef-Bet learning and Hebrew reading. Through 60 pages of playful, sequential activities, children practice compound words, syllables, rhymes, word bodies, beginning sounds, and ending sounds.
Most activities target Hebrew phonology while using vocabulary carefully selected for second-language Hebrew learners. The flipbook emphasizes familiar, concrete words—including animals (panda, gorilla, dolphin), foods (challah, mango), toys (yo-yo, slime), and everyday STEM-related words (rocket, robot, microscope)—along with widely recognized words shared across languages. This allows children to focus on listening to sounds rather than struggling with unfamiliar vocabulary.
The flipbook includes an Educator’s Companion with teaching guidance, instructional strategies, and implementation support. Ideal for classrooms, intervention, tutoring, and home learning.
